A George III mahogany bonheur du jour attributed to Seddon Sons & Shackleton
Inlaid with satinwood and ebonised lines and applied with Wedgwood blue jasperware medallions, the shaped cresting above three shelves and two short drawers flanked by glazed cupboard doors enclosing two adjustable shelves and two short drawers; above a rectangular top with frieze drawer inlaid with lozenges, enclosing a slide with ratcheted green and gilt tooled leather writing surface, flanked by stationery compartments; flanked by lozenges on octagonal turned tapering legs and spool feet, 92cm wide, 51cm deep, 142cm high.
