An 18th century Birmingham or South Staffordshire enamel bonbonnière in the form of a turkey
The moulded hinged lid decorated with a turkey on a white ground, the sides with sprays of transfer printed overpainted flowers, the underside printed and overpainted with a secne of two turkeys standing in a cottage gardens within a scrolling cartouche, some cracking and minor restoration, 7cm wide.
